Do NOT EVER again trust a bank, al la credit card company... period.. They are no better than a slum lord, a mafia extortion -- loan shark business, who will hire the lowest of scum bag collectors to hound you at home, work, and even call your neighbors with sleezy comments about you... The fact is they promised way back around 2004 they would "fix up" the card programs.. But they have done nothing... You people need to put the cards away, dont close them out.. Just dont use them, and tell the jerk balls why you wont use them.. We , the people control and change the creepy ways of these jerks when we pull together..

I would love to see one of these small business owners/individuals sue the credit card company for damages. If there is no real contract then why pay. Why are they the only ones that can change the contract at will? I personally have a small business and had a $25,000 line on one card. I would run it up to the limit, pay it down etc as cash flow. I always paid on time and always paid it off at least once every 6 months. At one point I had it up to about 22K and the card company suddenly cut the credit limit. and then charged me an "over limit fee". Needless to say I paid it off. Problem is they companies will ruin your credit score if you don't abide by their rules, which in turn makes other money you borrow and even insurance cost much more. So yes I say sue for the unseen damages. The higher credit costs, interest rates.

I paid off a Bank of AMerica line of credit, $45,000.00 only to have the line taken away 2 moths later!!! So where is the "small" businessman now in America? Certainly, not healthy!I also had my credit line from American Express (personal) lowered from $20,000.00 to $500.00 then taken away when I had a credit! Where are consumer rights??????

Bank of America lead me to believe I was converting my balance over in to a fixed monthly payment "gold options loan." I agreed, understanding it was like a car loan with a fixed interest rate and payment. Stupid me. They really worked me over and now I can't and won't pay them. I have paid what I charged. The interest and fees they are allowed to suck out of my earnings is criminal. So, no more. They can do what they like but they aren't going to get any more money from me without a court order. Maybe not even then...CAN SOMEONE PLEASE PUT THESE LOANSHARKS IN JAIL??? ARE YOU LISTENING CONGRESS???

These credit card companies are nothing but gangsters in a tailored 3 piece suit. They have form but no substance to them . They ripped off the American people with quote late fees by $22 billion dollars last year alone not counting the profit they made on the inetrest. These people who are behing this usury and fraud should be arrested and if convicted be deported from the US to one of the Pacific Islands the US took from Japan in World War 2 and let them fend for themselves. They are going to push the envelope once too many times and they are going to cause anarchy here in the US. The financial denizens are the masterminds behind this debacle we are in now.

Credit Cards ARE issued by BANKS. The same ones run by BANKSTERS.
