A British small business is being inundated with orders, as word spreads among royal wedding watchers that Illuminum's White Gardenia Petals is the fragrance Kate Middleton wore on her wedding day. At an affordable $115, the fragrance sold out almost immediately after the news broke and currently has a two-week waiting list."Orders have come in from dozens of different countries, but most of our customers have come from the U.S. It's charming to think that so many people abroad are interested in the wedding," Illuminum spokesman Michael Donovan said in an interview with the Daily Mail.
Former celebrity hairdresser Michael Boadi started the Illuminum brand in 2007. His first line of fragrances, Boadicea The Victorious, attracted another famous fan: Michelle Obama bought three scents.
Of the new Duchess of Cambridge wearing his scent, Boadi said, "I am thrilled to pieces. I am absolutely honored."
Boadi isn't the only entrepreneur to benefit from royal wedding mania. The Wall Street Journal reports sales of everything from fascinators and cocktail hats to fruitcake are booming, thanks to Kate Middleton mimics.

This Kate Middleton appears to have mastered the anxiety of being a
visible Princess in the Royal Family.............she seems very well
sorted out by her past and her talents !
What a catch for England and the Prince, commercial appeal is unlimited,
I would suspect this Perfume experience is the Tip of the Iceberg !
To watch this beautiful young couple, William and Kate, swearing their marital vows and affirming their love, moved millions to tears. Their affirmation of life and love made me think that perhaps our civilization might survive after all. I believe love sells
I believe people are creepy to run out and buy a perfume just because Kate Midde\leton wore it to her wedding. Wierdos!
I think it's great that small businesses are experiencing additional business due to Kate Middleton. She seems like a very down to earth Princess and the people can relate to her. Everyone wants to feel a bit special, maybe even like a Princess for a few moments in their dreary lives. And this is the 21st Century where product placement is as common as crumpets. I wish her and William a long and happy marriage and look forward to their upcoming trip to Los Angeles. Not that we don't already have enough "Queens" and "Princesses" in this city, but a royal Prince and Princess is special.
I loved seeing this beautiful young couple get married. I sincerely wish them a long, happy and successful life together as Queen and King of England. It is so nice to be able to write something on here and not have it censored and never printed as it is when I write on the huffington post of aol. My opinions do not matter there.
