Celebrity actresses Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have built a fashion empire that's now worth $1 billion, according to a recent report in US Weekly. The twins are the head designers at their company Dualstar (they became sole owners in 2004), which puts out three separate clothing lines ranging from the high-end to the more affordable. The labels include Olsenboye, their juniors' line designed to reach the mass market and sold in partnership with JCPenney; their mid-market contemporary brand, Elizabeth and James; and their high-end line that is turning heads in the fashion world this year, called The Row. The 24-year-old sisters are profiled in the April issue of Vogue, where they discuss their growing business aspirations and their quest in the last year to create credibility around The Row. In the feature, Vogue calls The Row's spring line "impressively wearable."As with their acting career, the Olsen twins got their start in fashion design quite young -- they had a line out at Walmart at age 12. According to the Vogue article, since their entertainment company Dualstar formed when they were 6, the twins have been heavily involved in the designing process. They also recently snagged a nomination from the Council of Fashion Designers of America for their womenswear collection, alongside established designers Joseph Altuzarra and Prabal Gurung. Now that they've hit retail sales of $1 billion, the twins told Vogue they plan to focus on their business full time, with acting taking more of a backseat. "I want to run a studio," Ashley said. "I'd probably like to manage other people on their brands. It could be an artist. A young designer. It could be an existing brand."

I'm so ashamed of all people who have the means to help the citizens of the US and don't. They wallow in their wealth and still aren't happy. You think the charities do anything for the poor of this country who used to be the middle class. Absolutely not! That's because the poor of the past have placed themselves in a position to receive help. And they're not giving that spot up. So when judgment day comes, what will you say why you didn't help the poor. Don't write these kinds of stories. They're too depressing for those people who can't even put food on their table. What I've seen is a number of fathers standing in front of grocery stores asking for handout to feed their children. These were the middle class generation that are now doomed to poverty beyound reality.

I drove a Limo an ave of 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week for Several Yrs.. and some days, 16 hr days!
You do what you have to do and what you Can Do..
All giving Something for nothgin to the Poor does is encourage them to do nothing and Have More Kids, they Can't afford to have and should be on Birth Control until they can afford $3-5k yr for every kid they want to have..
If you can't afford to support a Child? You have no business Having any! Like everything else in life worth having, You have to Work For it! You don't want to? then Don't have Kids and live in Poverty! and force them to live in Poverty too!

When It's the Order MAKERS that make that kind of $..! Go out an Get a Used Lawn Mower and go mow lawns for 50% less than the Pro's charge and mow lawns 12 hrs a day, 7 days wk..! You can make $300/day = $2,000 a Wk doing that!

These girls are as adorable now as when they were babies. I love the little girls clothing line which they sold through Walmart. For all the years they were in those stores, I bought them for my granddaughters to wear. They wore them for years, and in fact they have been handed down to great grandchildren who are still wearing them. They last forever, and they "grow with the child". They also, never get to looking "old" even after dozens and dozens of washings. I am very happy that the girls are doing so well.
