Madonna Muscles Her Way Into the Fitness Industry
The Material Girl's Hard Candy Fitness will open its first location in Mexico City, with plans for others across the globe.

Everyone knows that Madonna, 52, has some serious biceps and a penchant for yoga, so it's only fitting that she's making a foray into the fitness-club world. The first Hard Candy Fitness will launch this month in Mexico City with a 30,000 square-foot space. The gym will boast top-notch cardiovascular equipment with personal viewing screens, a juice bar and cafe and "lavish" locker rooms with saunas and steam rooms. Some exercise classes will include yoga, zumba, cardio kickboxing and capoeira."Hard Candy Fitness is a one-of-a-kind experience merging fitness with entertainment," Chris Dedicik, Hard Candy's managing director, said in a statement. "We are dedicated to exceeding the expectations of our members."
Having worked out in gyms around the world during her many concert tours, Madonna has apparently developed a keen eye for what a gym should and shouldn't be. Hard Candy is a joint venture between the Material Girl, her manager Guy Oseary and Mark Mastrov, chairman of New Evolution Ventures who helped launched the 24-Hour Fitness chain. After Mexico City, Hard Candy plans to open locations in Russia, Brazil, Argentina, Europe and Asia.
This fall, Madonna also will be busy launching a teen clothing line, Material Girl, with daughter Lourdes.

Just what we need, a skinny, skank, who's been used and abused telling us how to work out. Her little books for kids blew up in her face and so will this. I guess being some whore your entire life hasen't quit paid off for her now that she is nothing more than a has-been. That's why she is going to Mexico to do this, Americans are past this ageing piece of chit.
