Is print advertising dead ? Or is still a local advertising venue ?
What about the small e-commerce business owner, the guy earning under $75,000 a year from his on line business? What about those business owners? Let's hear from them for a change, let's hear about those business owners. The one man/woman show business owner. The "sole proprietor."
Why do you not use Craig's list?
We own "Rothstein Jewelers of Beverly Hills" jewelry store in Beverly Hills. We still advertise in the Yellow Pages because lots of older people want jewelry repairs & appraisals, and don't use a computer.
But for the most part, we have listed our store and our website on Google, MerchantCircle.com, Manta, Yahoo, CitiSearch, Angie's List, Yelp, etc, all for FREE. People find us on Facebook and Twitter. We post photos and coupons. Google searches produce the most results, because we have a big presence in West LA. We have many positive reviews, which people really look at. It's so important now to be able to be found on the internet, so you have to use all those marketing avenues.
Craigs list????? Why do I not use Craigs list?
I'll tell you why. It's all about image, that's why I don't use Craigs list. And I don't sell on Ebay. They both have image problems. I don't want to be associated with them. I do well with internet marketing. I enjoy Pg. 1 ranking for several key words and key word phrases, for the products I sell. Pg 1, and the 1st to the 4th position on page one. That's why I do well.
Craigs list? HA!.....That's funny. Get lost!
