The long-delayed bill passed the House by a vote of 237-187. President Obama is expected to sign it on Monday.

As expected, the House swiftly followed the Senate's lead, approving the small-business bill on Thursday by a vote of 237-187. The long-delayed bill now goes to President Obama, who previously scolded Republicans for holding up the bill. Opposition Republicans had dubbed the bill "junior TARP.""After months of partisan obstruction and needless delay, I'm grateful that Democrats and a few Republicans came together to support this common-sense plan to put Americans back to work," Obama said in a statement Thursday.
The $42 billion bill aims to increase and ease loans to small businesses, primarily through a $30 billion federal fund, and cut small-business taxes by $12 billion over the next decade.

I like your "atta- boy -addatude" I have been trying to develop small business on and off since.... I hired girls in the neighborhood back in 1969. The problem, I find with small business is finding keeping and , paying quality THE ADMINISTRATOR'S Assistant, . Without start up capital it's impossible. And even before you start this process most of us are thinking Do you Know how much Paperwork it takes to get anything from the government. So Secretaries out of work need to be hired to help us poor spellers and first timers with the paper work . And it would give jobs to Secretaries ...My two cents
Pelosi is shady, I agree. Reid is typical, but I don't consider Obama a liar at all, especially when compared with his predecessor Dubya, and Cheney... both of whom NEVER spoke the truth for 8 years in office. N E V E R. Almost ALL politicians speak "convenient and partial truths"; you're doing well if you find one who doesn't. Good luck. But...NO ONE LIES or SPINS or TOTALLY distorts FACTS like the REPUBLICAN PARTY! Well Martin.....life is a risk. Risk is what built this nation. Big Daddy Gubment can't shore up our risks by taxing the hell out of existing businesses and "spreading the wealth." Maybe risk is not your game. There will always be risk takers and there will be employees and laborers. Risk takers win and lose, but they are the ones that create and provide jobs to the employees and laborers. If WE want the economy to start booming again, the Feds need to get out of the way and stop meddling in things that they obviously don't understand. Vote them all out starting in November. Obama's actions are no more than subsidizing lazy and unmotivated people. More socialist crap from the "Thief in Chief."
I love how they call it a small business job act LOLOLOLOL when the very thing Obama wanted and is now gonna sign increases taxes on 760,000 small business owners. In a recent nationwide survey of said group a majority said that if this stupid thing passes they will be forces to lay off at least 2 employees to handle the higher taxes that for most will be 10's of 1,000's of dollar.
Thanks again Obama. Thats over 1 million lost jobs due to this 'Jobs Act'. Now how bout you drop the off sure permenant ban on drilling so everyone down there can get back to work and the rest of us do not have to increase our lifetime dependency on forgein oil and we can eventually eliminate most if not all of these OIL WARS.

Hey Martin, you are right that it time and has been for people to start businesses online. One major problem though; Most or maybe 90% do not comply with any laws regarding starting a business. They do not apply or obtain business licenses so they can avoid all taxes to include sales tax, federal and state income taxes. They can start a business online and cheat our nation as they are doing. Millions are doing it and as such, are causing the rest to pay for their illegal business enterprises.
And please do not believe Obama. He is the biggest liar to hold office in this nation and the least transparent of all politicians. He lies that this bill will not cost the taxpayer anything. He deserves to be tried and convicted for all his criminal actions and jailed for the next 50 years in Yemen. Please note too that the Health bill called Obamacare has in it huge tax increases and massive business costs on small business owners. The health bill also has in it a federal property tax of 3.5% on the purchasing and selling of property. That will hit like a lead baloon. The communist or Marxist party better known as the Democratic party, is criminal in how it is destroying America. Unions have driven millions of jobs out of America and they continue to rob the nation by their grossly over beneficial benefits that we end up paying for. Teachers, police, fire fighters, any and all other government employees included. They have higher retirements, better medical benefits for now and at retirement at our expense. They are given twice to three times higher benefits of that of the averageperson in a job that is non goverment, non union. They are grossly overpaid and all union contracts should be terminated and have limits placed on them. We the people are being financially raped by them.

So what solutions do you narrow minded, bigoted Republicans offer? I haven't seen much of anything except lip service...as it has always been. Stall tactics are not solutions...they are obstructions with no viable solution.
