A A AStarting your own business is a noble -- not to mention exciting, rewarding and often crazy -- undertaking. The experience is an adventure, to say the least, and no two entrepreneurial paths are exactly the same, whether they result in fame and fortune or just a few hard knocks.
There are an estimated 27 million small businesses in the United States. And 27 Million and Counting is our attempt to capture as many of these unique, only-in-America success stories as we can. The premise is simple -- we give entrepreneurs 60 seconds to share their stories, in their own words. We hope they will inspire, inform and maybe make you laugh. This is Erica's story.

Dublin,
Though this does sounds like a challenge and fun career, however, limit women's age group up to 44 years. Isn't this age discriminatory, Hmm?
Giving a link to your project's website would be better. Then you could give all the details about your project.
If Edward's provided address didn't lead to a HOUSE, it might be more believable as a not-for-profit. I'm sure those donations go right into your pocket.
My thought exactly.
Not true. I run an org out of my home. My closest friend does as well. My aunt ran her's out of her home until recently..We know several others who do this too, including more known, and better funded organisations, such as the Central Asia Institute. It saves money, for one thing. We aren't wasting any donted funds on leasing an office space. And we don't have to pay gas to get to and from the office every day. It depends on the organisation..How it needs to be run and how big it is. People tend to only get office space if there are a lot of volunteers and staff. Smaller operations don't need it. It is far more common than you think.
Sooooooo..what exactly is it that she does in this "entrepenurial world" ???
What a crock of excrement. I help woman who are traveling as often as possible, I help them into the bar, and then up to the hotel room as quickly as possible
So, what does she do? she nevers says in this interview
While I do not know if MSGT Jeffries is perpetrating a scam, I do know that googling an address is often not enough. Yes, if you google the address listed, it comes up as a home. However, many non-profits are either run out of, or at least started in, someone's home. If you google "Norton Veterans Group" you will get news stories about the efforts to get this airplane moved. I am not suggesting that anyone send money, rather, I would suggest that perhaps we shouldn't be quite so quick to judge whether something is a scam or not.
I agree with you Princess... I'm 53 so I guess I can save my money and plan my own trip. I guess this is what they feed the kids in business school: go for the 25 to 45 year old demographic. Not sure what makes a 53 year old travel any differently than a 45 year old other than the fact that we don't need this entrepreneur making a buck off us.
well i for one feel offended that she says 25 year old to 45 year old ..so older women dont fly? i'd never use her service !
She said nothing/should have taken her hair down too. Anyway, I traveled as a single woman in business for 5 yrs.-making my own travel arrangements. I didn't nd. a book/service to tell me where the nearest, cleanest hotel was closest to the client-(in the boondocks). Would her services have helped me plan & take a 2 seater plane to Martha's Vinyard. I don't think so. What is she selling? Pet rocks anyone? I'll ck. out the website for the fun of it--which should have been provided.
61 years old....guess i should stay home. remember the older people-we taught you how to party. she said she started it back in "the day", was that last year? really people, just go about your business. don't usually write but sometimes you just need to tell you to contact Expedia/Travelocity, etc. BUT, in defense there are many 25 to 45 year olds that don't know anything about anything!!!!!!!!!
I just looked at her ridiculous site. Makes you wonder how us non-savvy old fogeys managed to trot around the globe WAY back in the day without all these savvy perks from her savvy and glam team of savvy experts. As the saying goes, there's a sucker born every minute.
Gail Back. Just checked out her website - it's a joke too. Full of adds and not practical. No wonder she had nothing to say in the video. Pet rocks anyone?
good going Gail. thanks for the info.
Jane you didn't really tell what your company was. You should have given examples of what your guides did. I had to go to your site to see what it was all about.
Hey Cher, that is what everyone is saying-if they are not trying to veer you to some creepy site--AOL - get these comments off your site. Cher, Take a peek at Jane's website-but I wouldn't waste too much time-she has nothing to say or offer. Pet rocks anyone?
Great! Can't wait to utilize it. Safety first. Aesthetic second. Convenience third.
I'm an x-pat corporate F/A turned specialty shop owner, who misses world travel, but is reluctant in these turbulent times.
I opened my shop because I saw a need to ignore big box stores and send a message to America.
9-11 was the catalyst and Whoa! Nellie is the message.
Growing up in America was great back in the 40's - 60's! Lets have a re-run for the benefit for our kids.

Im 47 and quite capable of planning a trip around the world don't need the help of anyone. Isn't that one of the reasons we have a computer to use it to help us if we need the help. Get a real job stop taking stupid peoples money!!!
