I would tell Obama to read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, I think he missed that week of school in Kenya, actually I think everyone in Congress needs a re-fresher course on the Constitution.
I would tell Obama to locate and cut out all the waste and fraud in the entitlement programs. If you ask the people handling these programs at the local level they can tell you where and how everyone is cheating the American tax payer.
I would tell Obama to tighten up the requirements for the entitlements. Food stamps should be only for legal citizens, all household income should be counted, not just if they are married or related, this encorages people to not get married so they can collect more. Junk food and convenience food should be limited on food stamps, make it more like WIC. People on disability that can be trained or schooled for other employment should be and placed back in the workforce. People should have to do something to recieve public assistance if they are able, this encludes people drawing unemployment checks. Nursing homes, hospitals, museums, schools and so on could all use more 'volunteers'.
I would tell Obama to make E-Verify mandatory for every busines in America. It's free and easy to use. This would lock illegals out of the job market making more much needed jobs available to legal citizens. This is a no-brainer.
I would tell Obama we need term limits. The Founding Fathers never intended public service to be a lifetime career with benefits and retirement. It's not service if you're getting rich from it.
I would tell Obama to run this country like a business and please use some common sense, it would be refreshing!
Geez....do ya think if we actually would "get together" as a country, with actual things we could agree on...not everything, but core issues.....we might be able to, in good conscience, respect our leader's performances on their jobs?
This whole whiney little punk thing has got to improve.....if they want to do a big person's job, they need to grow up...
And I mean to the point that they are starting to develop some wisdom, because our little guy in the white house....doesn't have any. There is not 1 word of wisdom that has ever come out of his mouth.....evah!
Maybe a campaign to..... "Buy what your neighbors make....Sell what you make to your neighbors....it makes us strong and independent"
And then have an incentive plan for choosing to compare before buying.
And another one for major purchases (maybe over $10K, like cars.)
But something's got to PROVIDE a start to ACHIEVE a new direction.
