I am a small business owner. I employ 6 ladies part time. Those ladies will soon be out looking for a job because this economy is crushing us! We bailed out the big banks and they won't loan anything to little guys like me. America is built on the backs of the little guys. If you paid attention to our needs, you might get Americans' attention!
My question to Obama is "Why are you intent on destroying America?".
The bible says " in all things give thanks. God does have everything under control. Those that are making alot of money they tend to believe it. Those that are in debt they tend to question it. God does tend to close doors . He also opens windows of opportunities.

I watched my business go under and couldn't do anything about it, the economy failed and the housing market was no more. Yes there was help out there but not for small business owners, sure the already worth million dollar companies received the money as a bail out but for the struggling owner there was nothing. While the small business owners like myself sat back and watched our lives sink into nothing, Obama also sat and done nothing. My suggestion to him QUIT, RETIRE get the hell out of the White House. You do not deserve to reside in the home of our forefathers, it is a disgrace to them and to the PROUD AMERICAN PEOPLE.
Resign while you still have several people supporting you.
I think that building a Mosque on the site of a Natiional Disaster a major discrace to the memory of those we lost at 911 Ground Zero. They should instead build a tribute to those American brothers and sisters who lost there lives that day.
Obama has not only dropped the ball on such a simple issue, he has basically slapped every single person from NYC that believes they are an American and also every American across this great country of our who believes and knows in their hearts there is no changing these people and their "beliefs" are to get rid of all non-believers! The only thin Obama had to say was how he wasn't getting involved in this issue becuase it should be left up to NYC and it's people. And that WOULD have been the RIGHT thing to do anyway. Only, Obama didn't do that, he chose a side. That side he CHOSE wasn't a constitution side nor the side of freedom or the side of Americans everywhere! I really have to wonder now, what's Obama's adgenda???? Why would he choose a side like he did? If anyone who thinks it's the rep. party making this something that it isn't, that's just not true at all. This whole thing is Obama's mess, he created it all y taking it on like he has. He's doing his best to hide it under either the constitution or under the freedoms we have in this great country only I think anyone with half a brain and is willing to be HONEST with themselves can see he choice has NOTHING at all to do with the "excuses" he's giving now. Make no mistake, Obama has some kind of adgenda and it doesn't matter if you're Rep or Dem or Ind., we wont like it period! Clearly Obama doesn't really care that much for what took place at that site on 9/11, that's VERY clear by his words on this issue. I wonder though, just how many of Obama's followers will believe HIS words now, how many of his followers will actually back him up on this issue and NOT care about that piece of land and support building a building for the very people who cleared it off to begin with, took over 3K lives in doing so??? I have NO DOUBT that whoever will be or is behind Obama on his latest garbage issues that every one of you will have several "excuses" ready to defend your leader, exactly just one more thing Obama is counting on...his FOLLOWERS"!!!!!!!!

I believe in the freedom of religion. I know that people of all religions were killed on 9/11, and that a center for Muslims several blocks from the main center of the destruction of 9/11 does nothing to dishonor the victims of that terrible day.

Has everyone for got that not only did the killers of 9/11 admitt that they were muslim but that where they want to build the mosque is so close to where the towers fell and that it is all so the sight that is sacred to the graves of the ones that was never found .
I only wish that Obama would fight for the Americans and there feelings and sensitivity of what happened to all of us who loss our precious love ones .

I'm with you John, I've owned a small landscape company for twenty-seven years, and social security break would be something that would help me too. Seems so many people forget that business pays for half of social security. If 60% of business is small business, then people like John and I support the majority the system. What needs to be in the President's solutions to the economic problems is 1. establish rules for all to function which are equal, without favor to one or the other; 2. allow the small business environment which is 65% of the economy to expand, create, invent and hire.
One big move is to suspend, for one year, the social security and medicare payroll tax for both the employee and employer. It is about 1 trillion dollars per year. Use the TARP money banks have repaid to keep these two social programs afloat during this time.
The benefit to the economy of a 1 year suspension is the employee sees an immediate 7% increase in their salary. For someone earning $40,000 per year translates into a $233 per month payroll increase where the person can spend it to pay credit card bills, pay the mortgage, remodeling their home, buying yard furniture, a new roof, landscaping, etc.). The business owner who has 10 employees will see a $2330 more per month to do more marketing, develop a new product, hire another employee, buy equipment, etc.. All this stimulates the economy and is immediate and 100% into the consumers pocket.
The salvation of this economic recovery is not the S&P 500 companies due to their inability to react quickly to changing economic conditions. The savior is the small business owners who are the driving force of the economy. When a quick business decision needs to be made, this is the segment who can do it.
The President and his advisors have been employees or big government bureaucrats. They never started a company, invented a new product, created a marketing plan, networked with the community, hired and fired employees, completed a sales tax form, pulled from their savings to meet payroll, etc. Their answer is the big inefficient government to save us from ourselves with tax the productive to benefit the inefficient plan. It won’t work. The Soviet Union showed this.
Pass this onto Washington. They are not lisening.

The big bail outs he has given to the big companies served no purpose on my part. Mayby he should have bailed out the American tax payers who have lost their jobs, home and so much more.It is so hard to stay possitive in a country that once was so prosperous. I know so many people who have lost a lot of money in trying online jobs that 80% or more are scams. People are selling everything they own just to live and put food on the table for their family. Sure, their are people out there that are making millions, includeing the President himself.
I was raised in a large poor family. I grew up working hard for what I had. I use to be a middle class person, now I too am falling through the cracks of poverty. I am 47 years old, female. I put myself through school with no help from anyone. I worked as a welder and moved up the ladder to safety supervisor. 13 hrs a day 7 days a week for months at a time. Now, all I had worked for is gone, includeing my health. I know there are many more out there in the same situation as I and some in worse cases. It may sound like I am having a pity party, but I am just tired and dont know what to do, or what I am even capable of doing now.
America....once thought of to be the land of the free, and the home of the brave...hmmmmm seems to me that the President does not even have a clue to what is really going on in AMERICA. I doubt that if he met me on the street and I asked him for a small amount of money to eat, bath and have one good nights sleep in a bed..He would turn his head and keep walking.
My prayers are for America and all who are suffering in the world. My God Bless and fill all with joy, peace and love.
