I think that this is all part of "the change," that we've all been waiting for... I can't understand it, either.
Outside of L.A. does anyone care about the NBA ??
Really? What makes you think this wouldn't happen in other cities with brainless 'sports fans'? Isn't it all part of the idiocy of so-called big time sports? I'm sure if Boston had won you would have seen the very same thing there.
The Spurs have won several titles and San Antonio is still standing, it is obviously a matter of class vs ignorance.
why is LA the only city that celebrates by damage and looting!
It sounds like the people of LA are an enthusiastic bunch. As long as the Lakers are doing will, one would be wise it invest in a glass repair company.
Visited LA many a year over my life-time. It never appealed to me; it's just different and inconvenient.
Look at New Orleans after the Super Bowl win. We all PARTIED!!!!! and didn't burn anything but the night. We just know how to party!!
THIS NEVER HAPPENED IN NEW ORLEANS AFTER THE SUPERBOWL AND WE WAITED 43 YRS------PEOPLE THAT DESTROY OTHER PEOPLES PROPERTY AND LOOT ARE JUST TAKING UP GOOD AIR.
Why dont we arrest the perpetrators and make them pay every red cent for the damge caused? Or better yet get them to move to the UK and join the Soccer fans there.......a genteel mob!!!!!!
The LAPD screwed up, too (from an insider's report not reported in the MSM): The Mayor & the Police Chief - political figures of small but ego-inflated stature and totally bound by ridiculous rules of PC - started preparing for this year's after-game "victory" party after the very same disastrous after-game shenanigans LAST year; however, they still didn't plan well: Namely, they had phalanxes (hundreds) of police officers on the streets immediately within a 2-block area of the Staples Center - but not beyond!! And that's where the "revelers" found their relatively unguarded "playground!" Furthermore, there were hundreds of officers IN RESERVE waiting for the call-up as backup to the others already on the streets; however, by the time the call came in for "emergency" backup, it was almost too late - the looters & destroyers had done their damage and had fled the scene as the first of the "emergency" backup officers finally arr'd on the scene. In other words, a total screw-up in planning - and the City and its citizens get to pay the price for the incompetence of Villaragosa and his (PC) LAPD Chief. Finally, without pointing fingers - and this was NOT in the confidential report - I'd be interested to know what the ethnic - not racial - makeup of the crowd was that spilled out of the restaurants in the area, pissed to the gills from drinking for hours as they watched on the screens set up in the neighborhood restaurants & bars, and then went looking for a little destructive "fun."
Its always the illegals that want to destroy
The city MUST pass an ordinance making this kind of "celebrating" 5 year jail sentense. The eonly way to stop this nonsense.
The city MUST pass am ordinaqnce, of any one arrested participating on this kind of "celebrating" a 5 year jail sentence. The only way to stop this nonsense
same old mentality in LA, Never Changes
A colored president and colored attorney general thumb their noses at the law and constitution, and you wonder why the colored people think they will get away with rioting
Fred..... Jail them for 5 years, and they will do it again in 5 years. Shoot them down for insurrection, and no problem 5 years later
It is very easy to explain. The city is packed with illegals, street gangs, blacks with no hope and others who identify with our wonderful sports stars by wearing their sneakers and talking trash to each other,
There is alot of class in the big U.S. cities, but it's all low ! !
Obama's utopia ...
