Quirkiest Vending Machines
Junk food and soda are oh-so yesterday. Now machines dispense everything from umbrellas in Japan to bread in the Netherlands and prepaid electricity in Africa.

I believe that marijuana vending machines, would go a long way in combatting the alleged "gateway effect." If you don't have to associate with criminals and hard drug users, you are very unlikely to go out and say, "Gee, I think I'll go out for a little heroin, dear. I'll be back in time for dinner." Safe and efficient distribution, has been the problem, all along.
I agree. This business of marajuana being a gateway drug is BS. It's only a gateway drug if YOU let it. I "smoked" for over 10 years and NEVER used anything else. One time someone practically put coke up my nose. I told him I only smoke I do NOT do coke and I'm not going to because you want me to.
One thing, that I would insist upon, is that an ID card be issued, so that those under 18 would not use marijuana. This can be done quite easily with high-tech ID's. Even an endorsement on your driver's license would work, but it would have to be "masked," so that if you get pulled over, the police would only be able to obtain DMV info... This is because older cops (even some young ones) would still be subconciously predjudiced and be more likely to charge you with anything else under the sun, in retaliation. It can be done and it would save billions of wasted dollars and divert those funds from criminals to legitimate growers. It doesn't have to be bad, unless we make it so... We know from 40 years of experience, what doesn't work.
While I realize that advertising is a major part of AOL income having classmates pop-up EVERY THREE images when viewing is really disgusting and unnecessary. If I am not interested the first time I see it - 10 more times won't make any difference. Which is why I am weaning myself off AOL after 20 years. Sorry guys you just don't understand and that's why your are loosing peopel left and right.
