A A AGoogle will break ground by partnering with the Small Business Administration to provide a new website with free resources for entrepreneurs. Tools for Online Success will offer interactive tutorials, videos, and tips from business owners who have become efficient and successful webpreneurs.
According to John Hanke, vice president of product management at Google, 20 percent of Internet searches are location-based, indicating that many rely on the Web to help them determine where they go and what they buy on a daily basis. Because the goal of any good search engine is to make connections between users and the businesses that provide services and goods they need, "the first step is for those businesses to have an online presence," Hanke said. The goal of the SBA-Google partnership is to strengthen business owners' Web savvy so they can build solid relationships with customers who are specifically looking for the benefits they provide.
Topics covered on the site include establishing a general online presence, capitalizing on free marketing strategies, using paid online advertising efficiently to promote growth, using Web analytics and search engine optimization to boost website traffic, and analyzing which marketing techniques actually work.

FOR OVER 40 DAYS WE HAVE GONE FROM SBA (WHO DOES NOT LOAN MONEY), TO THE SAME BANK WITH 6 DIFFERENT CONTACTS. AS OF YESTERDAY,I BELIEVE THAT WE FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE WHO IS REALLY INTERESTED IN HELPING SMALL BUSINESS AND IS WILLING TO RESPOND TO OUR NEED. SBA IS NOT HERE TO HELP,BUT ,IN MY OPINION, HINDER THE PROCESS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
